The West Chester Wolves NCDC team has announced the tendering of defenseman Brayden Slack for the 2026-2027 season, adding a blue liner with size, physicality, and offensive capability to the organization.
A native of Attleboro, Massachusetts, Slack stands at an imposing 6’4”, 220 pounds and shoots left. The 2007-born defenseman has developed through the 95 Giants AAA program and Mount St. Charles Academy, consistently producing while competing against top-tier competition.
During the 2025-26 season, Slack recorded 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) in 53 games at the 18U AAA level, showcasing his ability to contribute offensively while maintaining a strong presence in his own zone. His combination of size, strength, physicality, and puck-moving ability makes him a valuable addition to the Wolves’ defensive core moving forward.

Head Coach and General Manager R.C. Lyke emphasized the impact Slack can bring to the lineup.
“Brayden is a big, strong, physical defenseman who plays with confidence and is extremely hard to play against. He moves pucks well and will make opponents pay a price in our zone and the tough areas of the ice.” said Lyke.
Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo echoed that sentiment, pointing to Slack’s well-rounded game and long-term potential.
“Brayden is a strong two-way defenseman who can defend hard and still jump into the rush. He has good instincts with the puck and continues to get better every year. We believe he’s going to be a nice addition to the D-Core for this upcoming season,” said Casillo.
With his blend of physical tools and offensive upside, Slack adds another key piece to the Wolves’ future as the organization continues to build for the 2026-2027 campaign.
