The West Chester Wolves NCDC team is proud to announce that defenseman Cole Leblanc has committed to Saint Anselm College (NCAA Division II), marking a major milestone in his hockey and academic career.

A native of Burrillville, Rhode Island, Leblanc has been a steady and reliable presence on the Wolves’ blue line throughout the 2025-26 season. The right-shot defenseman appeared in 50 games, recording 12 points (1G, 11A) while playing key minutes in all situations. Known for his physicality, defensive awareness, and ability to move the puck efficiently, Leblanc has been a cornerstone of the Wolves’ defensive core.

Head Coach and General Manager R.C. Lyke spoke highly of Leblanc’s development and what he brings to the next level.

“Cole has put in the work every single day to earn this opportunity. He’s a strong, physical, dependable defenseman who competes hard and takes pride in his game. Saint Anselm is getting a player who will do whatever it takes to help his team win and a great culture kid.”

Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo also emphasized Leblanc’s impact both on and off the ice.

“Cole is the type of player coaches trust in big moments. He defends well, makes smart plays with the puck, and brings a physical edge. More importantly, he’s a great teammate and person, and we’re excited to see him take this next step.”

Leblanc’s path to the NCAA level reflects years of development through top programs, including his time at Pomfret School where he served as a captain, before continuing his growth with the Wolves in the NCDC.

The Wolves organization congratulates Cole and his family on this accomplishment and looks forward to following his continued success at Saint Anselm College.
