Wolves NCDC Open Season with Weekend Sweep at Jersey Showcase

Sept. 12, 2025: Wolves vs. Boston Junior Bruins

The West Chester Wolves opened their 2025–26 NCDC season with a thrilling overtime win, edging the Boston Junior Bruins 3–2 at the Jersey Hitmen Classic.


First Period

Boston tested the Wolves early with three power-play opportunities, but West Chester’s penalty kill held firm and goaltender Sebastian Pribula turned aside every shot. The Wolves escaped the first period in a scoreless 0–0 tie.


Second Period

The Wolves struck first at 8:57 when Lukas Holmgren buried the season’s opening goal, assisted by Stryker Foster and Nico Pasquale. Boston answered late, with William Michetti tying the game at 19:33, set up by Drew Carr and Kiss-Molnar Gellert.


Third Period

West Chester reclaimed the lead at 6:53 on a tally from Eric McHale, assisted by Cole Jackson and Harrison Kinne. But Boston quickly evened the score, as Drew Carr struck just 46 seconds later, assisted by Mathew Bolduc and Daniel Raskin.


Overtime

In sudden death, Grant Lucas played the hero. At 1:42 of OT, he buried the game-winner off feeds from Dallas Glenn and Cole Jackson, sealing a 3–2 Wolves victory.


Between the Pipes

Sebastian Pribula stood tall in net, stopping 26 of 28 shots, including a perfect first-period penalty kill stretch, to earn the win.


The Wolves start their inaugural NCDC campaign with a statement win against a perennial contender.



Sept. 13, 2025: Wolves Shut Out Islanders Hockey Club

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the West Chester Wolves defeated the Islanders Hockey Club 5–0 at the Jersey Hitmen Classic in Wayne, New Jersey.


First Period

West Chester set the tone early with three goals in the opening frame. Dallas Glenn opened the scoring, followed by tallies from Timothy Russell and Maddox Goudie to make it 3–0.


Second Period

The Wolves tightened up defensively in the middle period, limiting Islanders’ chances and getting strong play from goaltender Sebastian Pribula, who turned aside every shot to preserve the shutout.


Third Period

In the final frame, Goudie added his second of the game and Eric McHale scored late to close out the 5–0 win.


Between the Pipes

Pribula finished with the shutout, while the Wolves showed both scoring depth and defensive consistency in the victory.



Sept. 13, 2025: Wolves finish off showcase with win against Comets

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, the West Chester Wolves faced the Utica Jr. Comets at the Jersey Hitmen Classic, earning a 4–3 comeback win in a competitive matchup.


First Period

The Wolves struck first when Grant Lucas scored early to make it 1–0. Utica responded with goals from Joshua Galizia and Josh Gregoire to take a 2–1 lead into the break.


Second Period

West Chester tied the game midway through the second on a goal from Philip Gamper, but the Comets regained the lead when Dominique Allard finished off a rush to put Utica ahead 3–2 after two.


Third Period

Dallas Glenn took over in the final frame, scoring twice to put the Wolves ahead for good. West Chester’s defense held strong against Utica’s late push, including a key penalty kill, to close out the 4–3 victory.
