The West Chester Wolves NCDC team has announced the tendering of Swedish defenseman Pål Södervall for the 2026–2027 season, continuing to strengthen the program’s international presence.
A native of Sweden, Södervall brings a strong two-way game and experience competing within one of Europe’s top development systems. Known for his hockey IQ and ability to make plays under pressure, he has progressed through Sweden’s junior ranks while facing high-level competition throughout his development.
Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo believes Södervall’s skill set will make an immediate impact for the Wolves next season.
“Pål brings a wealth of experience to our lineup. He is a fantastic two-way D man who possesses pucks and can make plays at a high level. We are expecting him to help anchor our blue line next year and be impactful in all situations,” said Casillo.
Head Coach and General Manager R.C. Lyke also praised the addition of Södervall and the role he is expected to play within the Wolves’ defensive core.
“Pål is an excellent two-way defenseman who can play in all situations. He will be a huge asset to our D-core next season and a very sought-after player by NCAA schools,” said Lyke.
Södervall’s skill set fits well with the Wolves’ fast-paced style of play. His ability to move the puck, generate offense from the blue line, and contribute in all three zones makes him a valuable addition as the organization continues building its roster for the upcoming season.
The Wolves remain focused on bringing in players who can compete at the NCDC level while developing toward higher levels of hockey, and Södervall represents another important step in that process.
The organization looks forward to welcoming Pål to West Chester and seeing him take the ice at PNY Sports Arena during the 2026–27 season.
