The West Chester Wolves Premier are back in action this week with two important Atlantic Division games as the playoff picture continues to tighten.
West Chester enters the week riding serious momentum after a dominant 17–2 win over the New Jersey Renegades. The Wolves currently sit first place in the Atlantic Division, with the Connecticut Junior Rangers trailing by just one point—making every game down the stretch matter.
Offensively, Max McKay continues to set the tone. The forward leads the Wolves with 57 points (19G, 38A) in 35 games, providing consistent production in all situations. Aaron Shanks has been equally impactful, posting 38 points (11G, 27A) while contributing on special teams, and defenseman Ryunosuke Shirozu adds offense from the blue line with 34 points and a physical edge.
In net, Wyatt Demers has been rock solid. The goaltender owns a .906 save percentage and a 2.10 goals-against average, giving the Wolves confidence every night between the pipes.
Game 1: Feb. 5 vs Jersey Hitmen
The Wolves return home to PNY Sports Arena to face the Jersey Hitmen in a matchup that could have direct implications on the Atlantic standings. With the Rangers looming just behind them, West Chester will look to protect home ice and keep pressure on the rest of the division.
Game 2: Feb. 6 at Mercer Chiefs
The week wraps up on the road against the Mercer Chiefs at Ice Land Black Bear. Road games late in the season bring a playoff-style atmosphere, and the Wolves will look to carry their pace, structure, and depth into a tough away environment.
With momentum on their side and the standings tightening, the Wolves Premier are focused on stacking points and setting the tone for the stretch run.
