Wolves Secure the Future with Tender of Johnny Renzullo

The West Chester Wolves continue to build for the future, officially tendering Johnny Renzullo, a dynamic 2008-born forward out of New Jersey.

Renzullo comes to West Chester from the New Jersey Devils U18 AAA program in the AYHL, where he currently serves as team captain. He also wears the “C” at Seton Hall Prep, a testament to the leadership and consistency he brings both on and off the ice. A left-shot center/wing standing at 5 '9”,175 lbs Renzullo has earned a reputation as a complete 200 ft player, who has excellent speed and can play in all situations.

Through his youth and prep career, Renzullo has produced steadily while taking on major responsibility. This season with the Devils U18 AAA, he has already recorded 13 points in 13 AYHL games, adding additional production in BEAST league play. His offensive instincts are complemented by strong two-way habits, speed, and a relentless compete level.

Head Coach and General Manager R.C. Lyke emphasized that Renzullo’s value goes far beyond the scoresheet. “Johnny is a complete 200-foot player who can play in all situations. He has excellent speed and the ability to make plays and put up points anytime he is on the ice,” Lyke said. “What’s even more impressive are his off-ice intangibles, habits, and attention to detail. Johnny has been a captain everywhere he’s played, which speaks volumes about his leadership, work ethic, and character. When we’re hunting future Wolves, culture and family matter most — and Johnny fits that perfectly.”
