The West Chester Wolves have announced the tender signing of defenseman Trey Dopson (2007) from the NJ Rockets U18 AAA program.
Dopson, a 5’11”, 185-pound left-shot defenseman, served as Team Captain for the Rockets this season, recording 5 goals and 11 assists for 16 points in 33 games.
A smooth-skating blueliner, Dopson excels at moving pucks efficiently and creating offense from the back end. His ability to transition play up ice and activate in the offensive zone makes him a strong asset on the power play. With poise under pressure and strong vision, he consistently generates opportunities for his teammates.
Beyond his on-ice skill set, Dopson brings leadership and character that align with the Wolves’ identity. His work ethic, compete level, and commitment to team culture make him a natural fit for the program.
The Wolves are excited to welcome Trey Dopson to West Chester and look forward to his continued development with the Pack.
