The West Chester Wolves NCDC team has officially tendered forward Filipp Papshev for the 2025-26 season.

Originally from Chelyabinsk, Russia, the 19-year-old brings international experience and offensive production to the Wolves' roster. Standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 163 pounds, Papshev shoots right and has played in junior leagues across Russia, Kazakhstan, and North America.

Most recently, he suited up for the Fresno Monsters in the USPHL Premier, where he posted 77 points (39G, 38A) in 45 regular season games and added 13 points in seven playoff contests.

“Filipp is a skilled forward with strong hockey sense and scoring ability,” said Wolves Head Coach RC Lyke. “We believe he’ll be a good addition to our lineup as we prepare for our second NCDC season.”

Prior to his time in Fresno, Papshev played for Jas-Batyr Atyrau in the Kazakhstan Jastar League, finishing with 62 points in 42 games and 18 points in the postseason.

“He’s had success in different leagues and brings a well-rounded game,” said Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo. “We’re looking forward to working with him.”

Papshev becomes one of the Wolves’ early international signings as the team builds toward its second NCDC campaign.
