The West Chester Wolves are proud to announce that 2007-born forward Blake Berthiaume has signed with the Wellington Dukes of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) for the 2025-26 season.
Berthiaume, a native of Moneta, Virginia, spent the 2024-25 campaign with the Wolves U18 AAA team, registering 24 points (10G, 14A) in 47 games while adding another 3 points in NAT1HL play. Known for his strong puck pursuit and high-compete motor, the 5'11" left wing brings a balanced mix of physicality and playmaking that caught the attention of multiple junior programs across North America.
Berthiaume came to West Chester after previous seasons with the Washington Little Caps, Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, and Hill City Coyotes, steadily climbing the competitive ladder with each stop.
Wolves Academy Coach Brennan Luckanish spoke highly of Berthiaume’s development: “Blake came in hungry and coachable. He bought into the process, worked every day, and earned this opportunity. We’re proud of the strides he’s made and excited to watch him take the next step in the OJHL.”
The entire West Chester Wolves organization congratulates Blake and the Berthiaume family on this achievement and wishes him continued success in Wellington.
