Wolves Welcome Guhnar Hillman for the Upcoming Season

The West Chester Wolves are excited to announce the tendering of Guhnar Hillman for the upcoming season. The 18-year-old center from Georgetown, Texas, is set to bring his talent and determination to the Wolves as they gear up for a competitive year.

Hillman, who stands 5'8" and weighs 165 pounds, shoots right and has shown his prowess on the ice from an early age. His journey began with the Dallas Stars Elite, where he played 14U and 16U, demonstrating a solid foundation in youth hockey. During the 2020-21 season, Hillman contributed to the Dallas Stars Elite 14U AAA in the T1EHL 14U with 8 games, netting 2 goals and 1 assist. He then played 20 games in the 16U AA, adding 3 goals and 2 assists to his record.

Hillman continued his growth the following season with the Dallas Stars Elite 15U AAA, playing 16 games in the T1EHL 15U and scoring 6 goals. In the 15U AAA, he truly shone, playing 63 games and amassing 20 goals and 13 assists, totaling 33 points with 112 penalty minutes.

In the 2022-23 season, Hillman joined Honeybaked 16U AAA, playing 10 games in the HPHL 16U, scoring 2 goals and 1 assist, and adding 3 playoff games to his experience. In the 16U AAA, he scored 11 goals and assisted on 16 in an undefined number of games.

Last season, Hillman had brief stints with the Leamington Flyers in the OJHL and the Chatham Maroons in the GOJHL. While he only played 1 game with the Flyers, he contributed 2 goals in 10 games with the Maroons.

Head Coach R.C. Lyke is enthusiastic about the addition of Hillman to the team. "Guhnar is a dynamic player with a lot of potential. His speed and skill set will be a great asset to our lineup. We’re excited to see how he develops and contributes to our team's success this season."
