Wolves Close Out Road Trip, Return Home for Home Opener at PNY

The West Chester Wolves NCDC squad is set for a massive weekend of hockey as they wrap up their road stretch before returning home to PNY Sports Arena for the first time this season. The Wolves sit atop the Atlantic Division with an 8-3-1 record, looking to keep their momentum rolling after a tough 6–0 loss to the Hitmen on Wednesday afternoon. .
Friday, Oct. 17 – at PAL Junior Islanders (2 PM ET | Northwell Health Ice Center)
The Wolves hit the road to face the PAL Junior Islanders — a team that’s proven tricky defensively for West Chester. The Islanders come into the matchup with top talent like Billy Collins (6G, 3A) and Ethan Ramonetti (.950 SV%) holding it down in net.
The Wolves will look to bounce back behind Sebastian Pribula (.946 SV%) and the return of forward Emil Szepesi, who rejoined the Wolves and has history finding success against PAL. Expect a gritty, high-tempo battle from puck drop.
Saturday, Oct. 18 – vs Mercer Chiefs (7 PM ET | PNY Sports Arena)
It’s the home opener and West Chester takes the ice at PNY for the first time this season against division rival Mercer — a rematch of the Wolves’ 4–2 win on Oct. 11. The Chiefs, led by Brent Beswick (6G, 6A) and Cole Werthman (.957 SV%), are always dangerous, but the Wolves’ offensive leaders like Grant Lucas (6G, 2A) and Alec Alfieri ( 3G 7A ) will look to keep the fire going.
Fans can expect more than just hockey — the night includes a Quakers Youth Hockey intermission scrimmage and a 2nd intermission fan contest for a Wolves prize pack and local restaurant gift card. Bring the howls, West Chester — it’s time to light up PNY.
