The West Chester Wolves NCDC team is headed to one of the biggest stages of the regular season — the South Shore Kings Presidents Day Showcase, February 12–16 at Foxboro Sports Center in Foxboro, Mass.
The final stop on the NCDC Showcase Series calendar brings together all 16 New England and Atlantic Division teams in front of a heavy NCAA scouting presence. With more than 60 NCAA schools located throughout New England alone, the building will be packed with decision-makers as teams enter the final stretch of the regular season. The stakes are high, and the timing couldn’t be more important.

Foxboro Sports Center — a three-sheet facility complete with a full-service pro shop and on-site restaurant, Augusta’s Foxboro — provides the perfect backdrop for one of the most competitive weekends of the year. In recent seasons, more than 200 NCDC players and alumni have committed to NCAA programs, including 42 to the Division I level last year alone. Since 2017, 18 NCDC players have also heard their names called at the NHL Draft.
For the Wolves, it’s an opportunity to make a statement, “This is what our players work for,” said Head Coach R.C. Lyke. “When you walk into a showcase like this, you know every shift matters. Scouts are watching details — pace, compete level, how you handle pressure. We’ve talked all year about playing the right way, and this weekend is about executing that standard.”
The Wolves will play three crucial matchups in Foxboro:
Feb. 14 vs. Northern Cyclones – 7:30 PM
Feb. 15 vs. CT Chiefs North – 4:40 PM
Feb. 16 vs. Thunder Hockey Club – 10:00 AM
Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo emphasized the importance of consistency heading into the playoff push, “At this point in the season, it’s about urgency,” Casillo said. “Teams are fighting for position, and there’s no room for passengers. Our group understands that the details now will define how we enter the playoffs. This showcase is a huge test, and we’re ready for it.”
With college coaches lining the glass and playoff positioning on the line, the Wolves will look to bring offense and discipline to Foxboro. Catch all the action live streaming on blackbearsports.tv.
